  1. Beautiful aqua piece and nice to see what summer looks like in Finland!

  2. I think your first two would be lovely fabric....summer dress or swimming suit. Very creative indeed!!

  3. Wow, these are awesome! I love the top two especially, amazing pattern work. That's really neat you made the patterns with plastic wrap; sometimes using offbeat materials can create the most unexpected and beautiful things. Love your lucky shamrock as well ^_^

  4. Wow, very creative pieces here, Niina, especially knowing that you used plastic wrap of all things to make these intriguing patterns. They can be interpreted so many ways. Very compelling indeed. I love too how you taught some students this art style as well. That's fantastic. Way to go adn well done! Lovely!

  5. lost my comment and I don't remember I said but I like the first one and using plastic wrap sounds like fun, is it like fingerpainting without the mess? great take on the ct theme.

    have a lovely day.

    1. Many thanks Lissa. Plastic wrap couldn't be more easier technique and you can create such awesome things with it

  6. Niina, lovely work you have here and quite fun to see what happens when utilizing plastic wrap in your paintings. Fun! :)

  7. These are just so gorgeous Niina. I love the patterns you have made. I might just have to have a go at this technique, whilst I get to grips with watercolours.

  8. Love your use of aqua with the plastic wrap! Very intuitive, indeed!. I've used plastic wrap in the past and I love the technique. And I miss Finland too. The last time I visited my relatives was 40 years ago this coming July. Yikes! Time for another trip.

  9. Lissa,
I love to use plastic wrap in my watercolour. It gives a beautiful background. I used it in my illustrations for Tadeo Turtle.
I didn't have time this week to join in.
    Lovely designs.
