Creative Tuesday: Wet

Hello bloggers

I hope everyone are doing great. I want thank everyone of you for writing  such great comments on my previous blog posts about bullying and mental violence. I actually took contact to a local agreement office and trough them I sent a request for those particular teachers to meet me and they have a change to apology. I have no idea how things will go but I have nothing to loose.

New creative Tuesday theme is wet.
Here is my newest painting "Ocean gypsy"

I really enjoyed painting this artwork.
 It's quite big  40 x 40 cm /app. 16 x 16 inches acrylics on canvas

Title comes from a Blackmore's night song with the same title.

Sea goddess, mer-people, sailing boats, stormy water.. etc.

I also added some embellishments. There are pearls, beads, sea shells.. all kinds of glittery things.

Another of my latest paintings:

"Maahetar"
(Woman of the earth)

Fitting for the CT - challenge aswell :)

Watercolor on acid free watercolor paper

I've also started my own YouTube channel
Here is my first video showing painting process.
Enjoy!

Thank you for visiting
Love and light

  1. Hello lovely lady :) Your Ocean Gypsy is stunning! Such vibrant and rich colour. I think she's incredible. YOU'RE incredible - don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. You should only be surrounded by people who love and support you and encourage your dreams. You are a hero. Love and hugs from me and The Colonel :) xxx

  3. I was not familiar with this artist and her music so I looked her up on Google. Her work is beautiful and very ethereal. Your Ocean Gypsy is equally attractive. Beautifully done.

  5. Hi Niina, I'm very proud of you for standing up. I don't know how anyone can say you don't have talent. And you not only completed one but two beautiful paintings. The details you added like the seashells and the moon, etc. are so creative. As is your "Woman of the Earth" painting. And I enjoyed watching your video. Wish I knew how to do that and also how you speed up the time frames. Thanks for sharing your art, Niina. :-)

    1. Thank you so much Tracy. I use basic windows movie maker and film with my web-cam. It
's quite easy to use. If I can do it so can you :)

  6. Yes, wonderful piece, Niina. And yes, big! :) I enjoy the fact you added all those "wet" elements like mer-people, etc. Clever. It is very creative indeed. Thank you for putting so much time into this. Great!

Also, I really enjoyed watching your painting video of the beautiful "woman of the Earth" even whislt being for a differnt co-op. I tis very well done --loving the drip lines adn fluidity of it too.

Finally, I'm so glad some people went and left you comments of support. You see, you have people here who are wishing you the best, believing in your creativity. Keep at it, reagradless of what transpires with those short range teachers. Good luck with it all, dear Niina.

Oh, and haha, so all we get to see is your nose on that video?! What's up with that? :)

  9. Niina,
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the video. I love the fluid motion of the watercolour as you paint. I still feel very stilted and like the way you let the paint flow and drip. I am going to try that. I am also going to share with a couple of friends who will enjoy this immensely.
    Blessing,
    Janis

  11. I am so late in commenting, but I love this! I also love watercolour, great medium and really cool to see in the vid how you used it. The underwater gypsy has such a beautiful smile, character design is lovely and the colors really make you feel like you're underwater. Great job!
